Day 1: Home – Night on board

It’s time to set off on an adventure to Argentina and Brazil! Arrive at your departure airport ready to check in for a flight to Buenos Aires. Night on board.
If either your outbound or inbound flights depart in the early hours (before 4:00 a.m.) you must arrive at the airport the night before the indicated departure day.

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Touch down in Buenos Aires, a sprawling city, full of colonial architecture and vibrant, Argentinan culture! Transfer to your hotel. Check out its atmospheric tango clubs, excellent restaurants and bustling shopping streets. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

Day 3: Buenos Aires

Breakfast at the hotel. Set off on a 3-hour city tour of Buenos Aires today! Known as the ‘Paris of South America’, visit the glamorous neighborhoods of Recoleta and Palermo and see Plaza de Mayo and the famous Casa Rosada government office. Visit the Metropolitan Cathedral and explore the unique architecture of trendy Puerto Madero. Step back in time to San Telmo, known for its renowned antique market, held every Sunday and stroll along Caminito Street, in the colorful neighborhood of La Boca. The remainder of the day is free to explore Buenos Aires at your leisure. Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.
*Optional Dinner & Tango Show (optional, $157/person)Experience an immersive evening of Argentinian food and arts at the Dinner and Tango Show. Watch traditional Tango dancers as you dine on Argentinian cuisine.

Day 4: Buenos Aires

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, revisiting your favorite spots in the city, enjoying the city’s green open spaces or discovering the capital’s fantastic shopping opportunities. We recommend an optional excursion to the Tigre Delta to experience the city from a different perspective.* Overnight stay.
*Optional Half-Day Excursion to the Tigre Delta (optional, $163/person): Explore the Tigre Delta on a boat tour, enjoying the islands and the local lifestyle of the Río de la Plata. Visit the fruit market, Victorica Avenue, and the Tigre Art Museum. Return to Buenos Aires with views of the Monumental Stadium and the University City.
**Optional Fogón Asado Dining Experience (optional, $163/person)Discover the tradition of the Asado. Enjoy an 8-course tasting menu that explores new ways of serving Argentine classic cuts. While sitting in our bar, you will see and experience different cooking techniques on the grill in a close and personal way.

Day 5: Buenos Aires – Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Leave the capital behind as you transfer to the airport to catch a flight to Iguazu, home to one of the most astounding waterfall systems in the world! Arrive and transfer to your hotel. Once settled, enjoy the remainder of the day at your leisure. If your arrival time allows, we suggest exploring the local nature trails through the rainforest or simply relaxing in the pristine natural surroundings! Overnight stay in Iguazu.

Day 6: Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Set off for an unforgettable tour of the Argentinian side of the Iguazu Falls. Discover one of the greatest creations of Mother Nature as you explore different footbridges to witness a variety of views of these mighty falls! On the lower circuit, get close to the waterfalls and feel the power of these thundering walls of water. Afterwards, take the upper circuit to enjoy a different perspective before reaching the viewing platform at the Devil’s Throat, where you can view the 80-meter-high waterfalls in all their glory! The remainder of the day is free to relax at your leisure. More adventurous travelers might prefer to take our optional Great Adventure excursion! Overnight stay in Iguazu.
*Optional Iguazu Great Adventure (optional, $137/person): Enter the jungle by the Yacaratiá trail in trucks specially designed for this environment.  This 5 km long stretch ends at Puerto Macuco. At its dock, board a boat that sails in the Lower Iguazu River, heading towards the waterfalls area and enjoying plentiful rapids along the way. Upon reaching the Tres Mosqueteros Fall, see the falls of both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides crowned by the view of the Garganta del Diablo (Devil’s Throat). Afterwards, the most exciting point comes when facing the incomparable San Martín waterfall. Please note: if you choose to take this optional, it will replace a part of the included tour on this day.
Please note: You will not be able to take part in the Great Adventure excursion if you have any heart problems, have had any kind of heart surgery or if you have limited mobility.

Day 7: Iguazu

Breakfast at the hotel. Today, take an excursion to the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls. Cross the border to Iguazu Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest forest reserves in South America! Ride the rainforest elevator down to the bottom of the waterfall, stopping at river level to take in the spectacular views! Alternatively, ascend to Salto Floreano viewpoint for a different perspective. Next, continue to Iguazu River Canyon and see the Rivadavia Waterfall and Tres Musqueteros. End the tour at the lower Devil’s Throat Viewpoint, for incredible scenery and views of the rainbows created by the thundering falls! Return to your hotel on the Argentinan side and continue enjoying the delights of Iguazu at your leisure. Overnight stay in Iguazu.
*Optional ‘The Argentina Experience’ Dinner (Optional, $209/person): Learn about Argentine culture, taste fantastic local dishes, drink exceptional wine, and mingle with fellow travellers from around the world, in a fun setting.

Day 8: Iguazu – Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your South American adventure today as you transfer to the airport for a flight to Rio de Janeiro. Arrive and transfer to the hotel*. Get settled in before spending the rest of the day at your leisure, soaking up the vibrant atmosphere and gorgeous landscapes. Take a walk along the beachside promenade to watch the locals playing football on Copacabana or Ipanema beach. Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.
*Optional Meet and Greet in Rio de Janeiro (Optional, $40/person)A local guide will accompany you during the transfer from the airport to your hotel where he will assist you to check in. He will also explain all the details of your itinerary and answer any questions you may have and advise you on the best things to do in Rio.
Note: if this service is not booked, the transfer from the airport to the hotel will continue to be included with driver only.

Day 9: Rio de Janeiro

After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, set off on a day of discovery in Rio de Janeiro. Embark on a tour of Corcovado and Christ the Redeemer, a true symbol of the city. Head to the top of Corcovado Mountain, with spectacular views along the way. Visit Christ the Redeemer, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and soak up the panoramic views. It’s the perfect photo opportunity! Afterwards, explore the Sambodromo, home of the Rio Carnival, the Selaron Steps and see the exterior of the famous Maracana Stadium. The remainder of the day is at your leisure to explore the vibrant atmosphere of the city. We recommend booking our optional activities: a visit to Sugarloaf Mountain and lunch at a churrascaria*, as well as dinner at the seafood restaurant Marius Degustare**. Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.
*Visit to Sugarloaf Mountain and lunch at a churrascaria (Optional, $81/person): Be amazed by one of the most breathtaking views in Rio de Janeiro as you ascend the iconic Sugarloaf Mountain, a symbol of the city. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious buffet featuring a wide variety of exquisite cuts of meat, allowing you to sample the best of the local cuisine at the Carretão Lido churrascaria.
**Dinner at the seafood restaurant Marius Degustare (Optional, $154/person): Savor Brazilian cuisine at this restaurant where you can enjoy spectacular dishes with a tasting menu that includes a selection of special meats and/or grilled fish and seafood, as well as a buffet of hot and cold dishes. Drinks and desserts are not included.

Day 10: Rio de Janeiro

Breakfast at the hotel. Spend the day at your leisure, or alternatively, we recommend several optional activities: a Helicopter Flight over Rio de Janeiro and Tijuca National Park*, visit to Tijuca National Park, Vista Chinesa and lunch**, and Rodizio Restaurant Dinner with Brazilian music***. Overnight stay in Rio de Janeiro.
*Flight over Rio de Janeiro and Tijuca National Park (Optional, $338/person): Head to the heliport for an unforgettable aerial view of Rio on a 30-minute flight. Then, immerse yourself in the stunning nature of the park by enjoying its trails, caves, and waterfalls.
**Visit to Tijuca National Park, Vista Chinesa and lunch (Optional, $98/person): Discover the splendor of Tijuca National Park, a vast tropical rainforest in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. Enjoy breathtaking views from the Vista Chinesa viewpoint, a tribute to the Chinese community in Brazil, offering panoramic vistas of the southern part of the city, including Sugarloaf Mountain, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, and the beaches of Ipanema and Leblon. Afterwards, savor authentic Brazilian cuisine at a traditional restaurant, where you can enjoy a delicious buffet lunch.
***Rodizio Restaurant Dinner and music in Rio Scenarium (Optional, $125/person): Enjoy a traditional dinner at Rio Scenarium, an iconic Brazilian restaurant in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. Located in a magical 19th-century mansion, famous for its charming decor of antique furniture and objects, it offers a unique experience. Immerse yourself in local rhythms while savoring the best of Brazilian cuisine – the perfect way to end the day! Explore its seven rooms spread over three floors, enjoy customized drinks, and authentic Brazilian music.

Day 11: Rio de Janeiro – Home

Breakfast at the hotel. Sadly, it’s time to bring your journey through South America to a close. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport for a return flight back to the US. Night on board.
