Welcome to Santa Marta, the first city of Colombia. Reception and transfer from “Simon Bolivar” Airport to the hotel. Overnight.
One of our representatives will pick you up at afternoon to take you on a tour along the city. Santa Marta is one of the oldest cities of South America; it was founded by the Spanish conqueror Rodrigo de Bastidas in 1525. First, you will visit some of the most emblematic places of the city as “Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino” a colonial hacienda where the liberator Simon Bolivar died on December 17 of 1830. Then, you will enjoy a beautiful sunset at the view point of Taganga. Finally, tour around the historic downtown where you will visit the Gold Museum and The Principal Cathedral. Return to the hotel and overnight.

Last day before return home, make sure you bring the best memories. Pick-up and transfer to the airport as scheduled to take a flight to reach the next city or your final destination.
For U.S. and Canadian Passport holders, tourist visa is not required to enter Colombia. A tourist stay can be granted for up to 90 days.
