Discover the abundant nature of Costa Rica and enjoy the perfect combination of adventure and relaxation. Stroll through the historic streets of San Jose, discover the rich diversity of the country’s rainforests and feel the strength of the Arenal Volcano.

Day 1: Home – San Jose

Welcome to Costa Rica! Our representative will meet and welcome you at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and relax for the rest of the day.

Day 2: San Jose (Breakfast)

After breakfast, we will do a city tour in San Jose, the capital city of Costa Rica.  Afternoon, free time to explore this wonderful city.

Day 3: Arenal Volcano (Breakfast, Lunch)

Departure early morning for a full day tour to Arenal Volcano zone, visiting Baldi Hot Spring Waters.

Baldi Hot Springs are one of the most visited hot springs properties, it including 25 thermal- water pools, a sauna / steam room, a Jacuzzi, restaurants, bars and an interactive kids play zone, it is one of the largest and most developed hot springs attractions in Costa Rica.

Day 4: San Jose (Breakfast)

Free day today, we recommend an optional full day tour to Tortuga Bay Island Cruise (Optional, USD$169/person)

Find a spot on one of the giant nets or sit in a one of the two fresh water pools on deck and relax while being served a delicious cocktail and fresh tropical fruit as you cross the scenic Gulf of Nicoya. Be on the lookout for dolphins, whales and sea turtles as well as the many varieties of seabirds. Upon arrival at beautiful white sand beach of Tortuga Island, while the crew sets up Cafe Calypso.

After a delicious 4-course lunch it is time to ride the Banana Boat, play volley ball with other guests.  In the afternoon explore more of the gulf taking a different route back to port on a Tour of Discovery, unique to Calypso, passing 7 islands to see and learn more of the history of Costa Rica as enjoy a beautiful sunset.  Return to San Jose at aprox 8pm.

Day 5: San Jose (Breakfast)

Free day today, we recommend an optional full day tour to Doka Coffee Farm,  Poás Volcano  , La paz Waterfall Gardens (Optional ,  USD$168/person with lunch)

We will visit the Doka Coffee Estate for a delicious breakfast. Then we will be treated to a coffee tour in an actual coffee plantation where we will learn the ancient techniques used by the experts to produce some of the best coffee in Costa Rica and around the world. The careful process involved in the cultivation, harvesting and roasting of the Golden Bean will then be illustrated, very hands-on, and then we will savor the delectable product.

After the coffee tour, we will continue to Poas Volcano National Park, where there is a noticeable change in temperature and exuberant vegetation of the cloud forest.

The Poás Volcano, is an active 2,708-metre (8,885 ft) stratovolcano. The crater of the volcano is over a mile across and 1050 feet deep.  It has erupted 40 times since 1828, including April, 2017.

After Poás, we will continue to La Paz Waterfall Garden, where we will enjoy a buffet lunch (rated 4 Forks by the Costa Rican Tourism Council) that includes multiple selections of Traditional Costa Rican dishes and much more. 

At La Paz Waterfall Gardens we will go through walking trails surrounded by lush tropical rain forest. Here we will appreciate flowing white rivers, spectacular waterfalls, birds, butterflies, monkeys, and hummingbirds. There are also, educational animal exhibits to enjoy such as the Aviary, the Butterfly Observatory, Hummingbird Garden, Serpentarium, Jungle Cats Exhibit, and the Frog Exhibit. This is definitely a tour enjoyed by nature lovers from all ages.

Day 6: San Jose (Breakfast)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Today is for you to explore this amazing city on your own pace.

Day 7: San Jose – Home (Breakfast)

Transfer from your hotel to the airport.
